Can't find 9x9cm mtb pedals

I wish to replace my aluminum pedals with nylon ones, but it seems all mtb pedals these days are in the 10-11cm range.

Any recommendation for nylon ones within 90-95mm (both width and length)?

Thanks

That’s pretty small for an MTB pedal. I am curious what you find.

Yeah. I'm using those for bikepacking and it's the perfect size for a mix of touring on gravel and occasional shaky downhills.

I found a couple of models in this size range, but always made of aluminum.

Have you tried larger platforms? For me (a guy with relatively small feet) it’s all upside regardless of application (MTB, Gravel, Road).

I found a ~9x9 nylon version.
It was surprisingly hard to find.
As long as I was using mtb as the keyword, there were all in the 10-11cm range.
Using universal gave better results, but still with a mtb shape.
Thanks for your help.

Just curious. Why nylon?

I can’t speak for the OP, but in my experience, one advantage is that they deal with rock strikes better.

Those 4000117538541 on AliExpress (I'm not allowed to post URLs yet apparently).
Definitely not top-end.

My second choice was this 1005003897640630, which are obviously of much higher quality, but for touring, I find it unpleasant to have aggressive spikes protruding too much.

I wanted to switch to nylon, because in bikepacking (= touring on gravel roads and mtb tracks) you often have to "hike-a-bike" and when the trail is narrow you hit your legs even if you are careful, so hopefully nylon will hurt less than aluminum.

Perhaps, basically, what you are looking for are plastic platform pedals that usually come included with bikes. And yes, they are always of the lower end variety.
When I’m not using SPD’s I usually bikepack with either alloy or composite platform pedals, but they’re spiked. You just need to be a bit careful when walk your bike. But regardless, even if you remove the spikes, alloy, plastic, or composite probably won’t make a difference. If you strike your shin on any of them, it’s gonna hurt!

Just received the pedals from China.
Quality is average, but OK.
The size is indeed exactly 9x9 and the spikes definitely minimal like I wanted.
We'll see next summer if I hurt myself less than with aluminum ones.
