Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Nice....didn't this get ridden on the Pizza Crawl last year? You had a different wheelset on it but it still looked awesome. Sorry to rehash a two year old post but I still see this bike around town getting raged.

I've had my Van Dessel Gin & Trombones for a little more than a month. Here it is just back from playing in the snow.

My Tricross. In the ice and snow, I prefer riser bars. Does it still qualify as a cyclocross bike?

Oh, that. I'm sure that the snow will melt any day now so I can get some proper dirt on it

Love your G&T... I have an older version (Silver and Blue) with the smaller front fork. I love how the new ones look, how do you like it? What type of wheels are those?

Stoked to have Mike Zanconato build me a super cool new bike. Custom steel lugged xxl frame (I'm 6'5"). This was one of Zank's show bikes at the 2011 NAHBS, which just ended in Austin, TX. The bike also features Zank's custom close ratio cross chainrings. The outer ring is a 44. Inner is a 38. Set of pictures here.

Here is my first cross bike. I got it on ebay for just £205, but have since spent about £150 on it. I got new tyres, bars, tape, stem and seatpost for as cheap as I could.

The bike is built up of campy bits, it has a a veloce left shifter and mirage right shifter (I kinda like having odd shifters), centaur rear dérailleur.

I need to replace the 53/39 rings as they are too big for what I want to do with my bike, but I'm over budget at the moment, and I didn't realise chainrings were so expensive.

I'd also really like to get bright green hudz with matching gear and brake outers - although I've had to rewire the cables twice already.

Anyway here is the bike:
