Left over Miche 502 pedals anyone?

Anyone out there have a pair of miche 502 pedals they'd like to get rid of? If you built your fix up with the group (as I did) and aren't using the pedals please let me know. Thanks.

Just curious, what's so great about the Miche pedals? They're like the old-style looks, right?

I thought that the Miche track group came with 302s or something in the US, not the 502s? Maybe I was wrong.

My gruppo came with MT4s. I have no idea what the difference is, though, as I have never opened the pedal box.

They're ok pedals, nothing special, I use them on my fixie. I have been using speedplays for years on my road bike but will no longer spend $$$ on them. I want another set of miche so I can wear the same shoes for both bikes. BTW, if you don't know already, the miche are Look "style" pedals but are NOT compatable with Look cleats, that is, you can't use Look cleats with Miche pedals and vica versa. Anyway, yeah, let me know when you get them (my Miche group from Chucksbikes came with 502's) and we'll work something out. thanks

Ouch, really? I was keeping my MT4s around on this premise, that I could switch between pedals with the same shoes/cleats.

WTF Miche.

the MT4's have a lower stack height and larger platform.

as far as the cleats go - the miche have a small tab at the bottom of the delta that engages the retention mechanism. why they chose to deviate from the standard cleat is beyond me, but it works well.

Hmm... maybe they are track-specific pedals? I use time impact S pedals on my road and track bike. I like the float aspect it's better for me knees. But me's noticed that on a hard sprint they do work loose, kind of like half way popping out, especially if I'm sprinting from a trackstand. I have them on a medium tension setting (available low|medium|high settings) because I have a hard time clipping in on the high setting.

Well, my groupo came with MT4's, not the 502's. Sorry about that.

If you want the MT4's though let me know.

Good luck on finding the 502's

the mt4 seems to be their newest pedal, rather than a track specific offering, as it comes in the roadie groups as well.

the 502 used to be standard on the track gruppo

i've never even come close to popping out of my 502's even with a lot of strain, but then again i run a fixed cleat.

I have a brand new set of Miche 502 pedals and cleats. They were gifted to me but I have decided to stay with one consistent style so I can easily switch from bike to bike.

Please let me know if you are still interested.

Jeff
