Ha ha ha ha. That is the epitome, the truest essence, the purest and most complete JA bike in this thread IMO.

One of those tires weighs more than your average TT bike.

Not to mention they are squirmy as **** unless you bring the pressure up to dangerously high levels

This is in England but similar things have been happening in the US too.
NC park closes after spikes deliberately placed along trails; runner injured | myfox8.com
Also, they've been finding people doing nasty things with fishing wire.
Be careful out there.

trail sabotage and booby traps are pretty commonplace in the mtb community. pedestrians think were up to no good and or dont know how to share public land that we all own.

all that being said, that is seriously taking **** to the next level, theyre outwardly trying to kill people. someone needs to go to prison.

there was a section of bikepath in harlem that was undergoing construction a few years ago, so there were no lights for a short section. some enterprising individuals set up some fishing line to clothesline people and rob them.

needless to say it was highly effective

There was an incident like this in Bellingham a few years back where cheesewire was strung across popular MTB trails. Those people should be sent to jail for a long time.

Manslaughter? I think anyone arrested for a death resulting from a booby-trap they built would probably be tried for murder. It's premeditated intent.

Manslaughter n. the unlawful killing of another person without premeditation or so-called "malice aforethought" (an evil intent prior to the killing). It is distinguished from murder (which brings greater penalties) by lack of any prior intention to kill anyone or create a deadly situation.

Premeditated first degree murder. That's a life sentence I would think in most states.
