Indeed, but PRO Components white bar tape isn't. I had it on the shelf. I'll eventually install Fizik, which actually stays white.

Bar tape is so subjective, kinda have to try a few and see what you like. This is Deda's "logo" tape and I like it pretty well. It has almost a fabric feel to it. I chose it to brand match other components.

And yes, it fits pretty well on there. The silver screw that attaches the headlight goes through a boss at the very front of the rack. Very helpful for something this deep!
It's an older version of the Swift Ozette in the largest size.

The weather gods took pity today and paid back for the lousy April and May weather. Sunny skies, 75 degrees! 55 miles with 4100 feet of climbing. 7 or 8 miles of gravel roads which were smooth from all the recent rain.

Turns out my riding wasn’t done for the day. I was outta beer. Quick online order and back to the local brew house. About 2 miles, 100 feet of climbing, 136 oz of beer!

I had planned a ride on Bald Peak with gugie today, but my HVAC guy who was supposed to come replace my AC and furnace yesterday wanted to reschedule for today because the weather was better. 
I did get out for a short ride in the afternoon and checked out the (relatively) new South Hillsboro neighborhood. Since it's 531 day, I took the Viner.
A new class of litter has appeared.

When I need a quick ride I play a game called “Try to Find Robert Gray Middle School”. This is one of the more interesting routes. Didn’t even know about 531 day, but I was doing the right thing.

Yesterday's ride sucked. Didn't feel well, wasn't focused, and went down when the front wheel hit grass clippings on a curve. Luckily, I regained control long enough to exit the pavement before going down. A bit sore today, but I waited until later in the day today and got in 26 miles on the '76 Motobecane Grand Touring. Today was a MUCH better day. 86 degrees, a light east wind, and low humidity. Not many late May days in North Texas like that.

Rode 50 and change up to Lake Bluff, since they're burning and looting downtown. Lake "breeze" kept temp at 60. Gonna be 80s starting next week.
Very difficult to get out the door. Was up until 2:30 celebrating my wife's birthday, so didn't get out until the "crack of noon". Had to do multiple tire swaps to find a Michelin that was acceptable. Contestant 1 had a weird separation and contestant 2 had cords coming through.
Got a new 38oz water bottle, but had to change cages to keep it secure. When I say change, I mean find the elusive tiny hex wrench and the file the cage holes, because they don't match up with the Superior.
Icing on the cake was the computer stopped work a few minutes i to the ride, because the sensor was mis-aligned.
Taking a break in Lake Bluff
New gigantic water bottle. Really helps since all public facilities and fountains are unavailable.

I've just been out for a short ride down towards Bridgwater though, and the amount of motor traffic has been noticeably higher, with far fewer people out cycling. Looks like we're heading back to "normal".

The photo I put up showing Cross is on the main road heading towards Bristol Airport - I've never seen that road almost empty of traffic before, not even at 6 on a Sunday morning.
I've just been out for a short ride down towards Bridgwater though, and the amount of motor traffic has been noticeably higher, with far fewer people out cycling. Looks like we're heading back to "normal".

The Green Man pub (spot the sign) in Norton Disney was closed sadly! Yes this is where Walt and his family originated from. A nice hamlet in East England.
My trusty steed for the afternoon - my fantastic Nigel Dean Tourmaster - never left out of sight though!
And a rather old bench to sit on - the conkers bounced on it making a nice tune like a glockenspiel

Couple other shots: A handsome steel sculpture at Carrie Blake Park in Sequim (that boxy aluminum thing behind it was kinda cool, too.)
I hardly even notice chainsaw sculptures around here anymore; they are so plentiful. But this one was a surprisingly accurate and detailed bear (not the usual cartoony looking Sasquatch) I decided to take a pic.
Waterfront trail into Port Angeles. If you squint dead center at the end of the pier you can see the docked Coho Ferry to Victoria BC; projected to start its daily service again some time in 2021 (!!!!)
