Well, I'll take the high road with my response and simply say Lewisville, Texas USA.

Now, feel free to unbunch your knickers.

Much appreciated, @northbend. I'm fortunate to live in a big city (wouldn't like to miss that)... that I can leave behind on my bike in 30 minutes tops — wouldn't like to miss that either.

From a ride out in the Snohomish Valley in a warmer season

From another ride in the Valley in a wet season.

Somewhere out in Weyerhaeuser land near Index, Wa. A very memorable ride.

Pardon the modern fat bike, but this is one of the better gravel road pictures I've taken lately. This is from a few months ago in the northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Somewhere between Selma and Uniontown, Alabama. A little ways beyond here, the road started to get really bad.

Yes, that's what I call the "Hairpin from Hell" - you can get some good speed coming down the hill towards it!

Brings back memories of a steep, hard ride. The descent into Livermore on the other side is great payback. On a clear day you can see the Sierras past the Central Valley on your left, Coastal Range in the distance on your right.
