Thoughts on this bike?

In the market for a commuter bike for my uncle. He basically just cruises around town, not entirely long distances. He is 5'8 and doesn't need a crazy bike but I want to get something decent within the $300-500 CAD range.

Can anybody give me opinions on this Trek 7.4? It seems like a decent fit but I have no idea what is a good price point for used bikes.

Cheers

Probably too big. Nice specs for the price. I'm 6' and ride close to this size, and if I did it again would go smaller.

agree on size too large.
57cm for 5'8" height seems big.
