Ooh.. Isn't it exciting to cycle along abandoned roads. Feels like you're cycling throught a car free future.
Here's one of a more recently abandoned road on a sand spit(? not sure this is the correct lingo) between the towns of Sete and Agde in France.

Amazing pics! I feel so thirsty for mountains and rivers right now, I want to grab my bike and pedal till my legs are dead. Instead I'm sitting in front of the computer, gazing at the blue sky of your photos with a pounding headache from the programming I've been doing the last hours.
