Where to get team/club jerseys made?

My group has been long talking about getting some custom jerseys or hats made for us.

Finally taking a look at it, and we would need around 10-20 made. Everything I've looked at looks like it is going to cost $100 or more per jersey

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for small scale production thats a bit affordable. Don't really care about brand. Hats would be fun too as they could be much more affordable and easier to do ( generally one size fits all ) if anyone has any leads for that.

One option is to order the plain jerseys yourself...from Performance, BikeNashbar, or wherever. Then take the plain jerseys to a local t-shirt shop and have them print your artwork on them. They might be able to help you out with the artwork too...if you don't have your own already. I'd discuss it with the t-shirt shop first to make sure they can/will work with the jerseys you order (sometimes they need particular material).

You need to talk to a human being. I'm thinking that you should be able to get 20-30 jerseys in the $40.00 to $60.00 range. Let them help with the design too. It'll look a lot more professional.

For the custom 50+ Forum kit, we used Champion Systems, https://champ-sys.com/custom-apparel-catalogue @ cccorlew did the art work and handled the design process with Champion, through their website. They have different programs depending on how many pieces of kit you are ordering, or even an option that lets each individual buy the kit that the club/team/forum/etc. order exactly what they want, using the design that has been entered for the entity's members use. However the cost goes much higher due to individual shipping cost and smaller numbers of pieces being made.

I don't know their current pricing structure, but at 10-20 items you are probably looking at about $65.00-$80.00 per jersey, short sleeved and either race cut or club cut, and full zipper. They have summer weight material, long sleeve jerseys, shorts, arm warmers, socks, old school cycling hats, tri jerseys, etc. The website has a price list for each level of buying you are looking at using.

They assign a contact person there to answer questions and help you with ordering/design/shipping, I handled the last 50+ group buy, in the summer of 2015, Curtis was busy with teaching duties at the college he instructs at. Champion helped me out with anything I came up with as far as problems and questions. Feel free to PM me if I can offer anything about how things went.

Bill

i've been looking around myself so I have some knowledge, one option is jakroo, you can design online or have them help you, no minimums apparently (I'm personally looking for something just for myself), but with 10-20 people things should be pretty affordable

I don't know how cheap they are but this is a local place in Pittsburgh that does very good work.

When you go cheap sometimes you get what you pay for. A good jersey should last for years.

You really should post your location. That makes a huge difference.

My son did a custom jersey for his wedding party.. there were 3 of us.

I did a custom jersey for my fund raising for cancer research. Out initial purchase was 2. We've since ordered 5 more. It's $129 for one, but if you order 2 or more, it goes down to $100 each. The jersey is nice, true to size and has a zip pocket on the right pocket for keys and cash. They were very helpful with designing them.

Our club uses Champion Systems. We provided the basic design but they did the detailed design. We'll place a big group order each summer for jerseys, shorts, jackets, etc. They are very inexpensive, ~$50 for a nice quality jersey.

That said, Aero Tech is where I buy most of my clothing, and the fit is fantastic for larger guys like me.

I second Aerotech. They were used on the Clydesdale and Athena's Custom Jersey and I love the jersey. Have 2 from them, never once had an issue.

We have used 83 Sportswear and Canari for our last two jerseys. Both have low minimums and reasonable pricing. Canari was just last month, and for 6 men's club cut with full zip, it was $62 per jersey. We also got windproof and water resistant jackets for $77 each at a min order of 6.

The charity team from a law firm I used to work for has used Voler on several occasions. They helped with fine tuning the design and also sent sample jerseys so people could try them on for sizing purposes.

The last ones they ordered were comfortable material and were full-zip.

I designed a jersey for a company ride and had them made by AK Apparel. I used a semi-custom "Design Your Own" style (using company colors) and had the logos and such placed on the front, back, sides, and sleeves. AK Apparel had a nice size selection and scaled the images up or down, depending on the jersey size. I converted the artwork to the necessary .EPS format using freeware I found on the web. The price today, according to their website, would be $65 per unit for 13 to 24 jerseys. Their turn around was quick and they are located in St. Clairsville, Ohio. The guys in our group were very happy with the finished product. It was really easy and pretty much hassle-free.

A local cycling website kind of evolved into a club and the woman that started it had jerseys made by V-Gear. No idea what the cost was to get them made but my jersey from 2009 is still going strong.
