I was wondering if I might sneak another ride in this afternoon. I picked up my phone to check the weather app and see two notifications: a tornado watch expiring at 11 PM and a flash flood watch expiring at 10 AM...the day after tomorrow.

Still might try to sneak in a ride.

As the clocks have changed this month and the weather has improved, I set myself a target of 1000 miles for April, easily my biggest mileage month so far this year. Just about managed it, 1054 miles. I just checked and turns out it took me exactly 72 hours, so I spent 3 full days, a tenth of the month of April cycling. It was all in London, with a bazillion sets of traffic lights, so a good chunk of that was standing at lights like a bollard, reckon I could have read a book while just waiting at lights his month.

4/29: 4.3 miles
4/30: 10.7 miles

MTD = 103 miles

we've come a long way, baby!

ok... for May then... I should probably try to hit 100 more than once in a row... but I'll say 150...

That's great. I'm not sure I would have bothered to rent a bike on vacation. Good for you!
