All true about the Ron Cooper, I can say from experience. What a nice thing, but highly subtle. His work is defined equally by what's not there, as what is. I toured on mine for six months and I feel the same way this reviewer felt. One of the last of the old masters, he was. Trained at Gillotts. Built them all himself right up to the end, with minimal jigs and fixtures.

Nice read.
BTW: Spotted a smaller framed and late model Jackson on Chi C.L. for $300. Odd build, could use some sorting out, but good trade bait parts.
