Dropped chains - Spoiler Alert

You'd think Wout, as the reigning World Champion, could get a proper 1x set-up with a clutched derailleur from SRAM. He dropped his chain twice last Sunday in Ronse and would have lost the race as a result if MVdP had not suffered a mechanical from a broken spindle.

plenty don't like gearing with 1x setups, you either end up with big gaps or less rideable terrain that you'd have to dismount on. Its always a tradeoff. Katie has been dominating with a 2x setup all season

You can drop a chain on any system. People need to get the F over this stuff. You can have a mechanical on literally anything. If there was a perfect system out there, everyone would be on it. Literally the only components on a cross bike that can make or break your race are the tires.

BITD the single chainring setup had 2 disc chainguards on either side of the chainring.

Campagnolo made 4 sizes of part no 753/1&/2 [186,198,210,222]
