Bike Beauty Contest

Let's see what you consider the prettiest bike that you own. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
My entry is my '92 Colnago Master PIU Decor.

Such nice striping on the fork...

My fixed gear Raleigh Comp gravel bike is finished, all it needs is a wash, so I can take it out and get it dirty again:

By the time rccardr, Chrome Molly, and idmataya post, I'm already humiliated.

However, I'll play.

Others have seen this, and told me it was beautiful.

And I kind of liked this one. It was nicer in person. The housing and the saddle/wrap matched the two-tone pinstriping.

It changes from day to day. But since I'm riding this one all month I'll say this one.
In this pic it has all original components. Saddle and post are not original. And the bars are my preference over any bars period. I especially like the contrasting black colored accessories. It currently has gripshift on the end of the aero bars and a 7 speed freewheel instead of 6 now.
All my Ironman are equally good looking.

Not sure which brand/model, but for me it needs to have a 23" seat tube. My 24's -- and anything bigger -- look a little out of proportion, and anything smaller, too. YMMV!

Beauty can be so many different things.

If going pin up beauty - a bit too much of everything - it would be this one:

If going understated classic beauty:

Ragged old beauty with a big heart - looking good from a distance:

But my personal favourite has always been the quirky beauty. The one that intrigues you to want to know more and that always surprises you:

And I am mot only talking about bikes here...

Some real swoon inducing bikes here already. I can't decide on my favourite so I'll show my favourite two, my 1989 Bottecchia Equipe and my 1985 Eddy Merckx Team Panasonic.

even my wife who mostly just ask why i need so many bikes (only 3) likes this...... the De Rosa red is special. I know some don't like the modern components...but I think the black makes it work and the Nitto (seatpost, stem, bars) are just elegant

You mean the porn beauty? Oh... I do not know what to write... I do not know what this US oriented forum can take. I might be banned.

Hrmm... there is total nudity here... with close ups.

Have you seen Drillium Dude's naked Colnago? It might suit your definition. He's recently added a naked Casati, but I don't think that one is quite finished yet.

BTW, those chain stays are awesome!

Right now, I think this is the beauty queen among my completed bikes.

Or if you like something more modern looking with bling, possibly this one.

(So shiny, I need bad lighting to get a picture where you can see it.)

But I think both of these are about to be knocked off of the pedestal in my garage by the Stella I'm working on. Pics of that in a couple of days.

I've seen that Masi frame with the "drillium" chainstays, in a local bike shop, not so long ago....
Very intriguing. Kinda reminds me of cooling vents on a firearm barrel shroud, for some reason.....
I wonder if it adds an appreciable amount of lateral stiffness to the chainstays.
