Does anyone know about this brand of bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Post in "Vintage" and search in "Vintage" for Centurion. There is a long Centurion thread that has imformation about most models. The "Centurion" name was used until about 1990, when the importer decided to use the Diamondback name on all of his lines of bikes.

I sold an 88 Trek 1200 to a friend. He is still riding it several times a week, with all the original components, and original wheels. It has terrific shifters and brakes (the '88 Shimano 105 group had wonderful shifting and braking...STI shifting and braking feels slow and "clunky" in comparison).

If that Trek is your size, and the bike is in good condition, you would be getting a nice bike.
