I'd guess it's a motivated seller.
The Razesa sold for $910.77. My initial bid of $1.00 did not last long.

Anyone from BF win the Razesa? My bid was above $1, but below $910.77. Pretty bike.

Not sure if it's a BF/ C+Ver but this immaculate looking (excepting what looks like a missing headbadge) Motobecane is down to a close-to-reasonable $640 - I remember it was initially posted a few months back at around a grand.

1975 Motobecane Le Champion - $640 (Vashon Island)

This beauty is currently looking for a new home! Asking $640 or best offer. Willing to deliver within a reasonable distance of Seattle/Portland. Full Campagnolo Nuovo Record with Super Record brakes. 43.5cm wide GB randonneur handlebars. Brooks Team Professional saddle. Reynolds 531 tubing. Excellent condition for it’s age! Let me know if you have any questions!

Seat tube center to center is 60.75cm center to top is 63cm. Top tube center to center is 58.5cm. I’m 6’1 and it fits me well.

Pricing may be fairly optimistic but I get it, this could be a fantastic find and build.

Original crank and pedals are a big deal here as well as the HS and SP binder if original.

They have an International up also. Lives in the Marina district, so I'd guess the price is up to save it from the riff raff. I bet an old timer with the right intent could get a good deal.

Well, $750 doesn’t go very far in the Marina.

I wasn't going to buy this because serial number indicates it is a 310. Basically a warmed over TX300 with Ishiwata double butted hi-ten tubes and the stamped fork crown. Still, it's a very early Trek. 1979 with a brass screwed-on head badge, that is in nice shape, and has decent components. (new looking Nouvo Record derailleurs, clean MA2s) WTH, there's room in the shed until I decide what to do with it.

Raleigh SBDU 753 up for sale again

The red paint may not be nice as it could be because 753 doesn't like paint; I'd assume that the Bob Jackson store competently paints.

I had a really large Chromovelato Razesa with no decals I bought from Nashbar, which solved a bike shop mechanic bootstrapping problem when I beat a LBS owner in a TT. I was in a RR on it with a fast one-arm guy in deepest lightest Connecticut, and finished dead last in a Greenfield RR after everyone, including people picking up hay bales, went home. It had blue Galli KL brakes, but some evildoer stole it from a different LBS while I was hanging around inside talking to its Rick Sanchez - clone owner. Coherent.

... where did you get whatever you dosed yourself with before you wrote that?

I don't know if you should ask for a refund, or if I should ask where to find some.

I'm guessing the link didn't get posted for the sale but the description came through with flying colors...sometimes more than the wheels are spun.
