Please help me identify this Cannondale
Good day and thank you in advance for your time, I picked up this bike at a yard sale, the frame is structurally sound, no dents or severe scratches, but everything else is garbage and needs all to be changed, but I have no idea what model of Cannondale it is, there's no name or markings, wondering if someone could kindly identify this and to answer the following questions:
1- I'm used to mountain bikes only but always wanted a commuter/hybrid like this, but the handlebar is very short, is this designed to perform well like this? or can I replace with a wider handlebar?
2- I can buy whole shimano MTB groupsets from eBay, would any 9 speed groupset fit this? with hydraulic brakes?
3- Is this bike worth restoring and keeping? or it's pretty old and I should resell and move on?
Thank you
Bobak
P.S I have pictures but I can neither post them here nor provide a link to some other photo sharing site because I have less than 10 posts, is there any way I can share the pictures?
The following numbers appear on the bottom of bottom bracket:
BR127528

The alternative is lots and lots of SPAM posts. You weren’t a member when you’d come to a subforum like this to see the first two pages taken up by SPAM posts from a bot.

You can post in "Introduction", and welcome others. And perhaps there are other threads of interest.
The 10 post requirement has been very effective at discouraging spammers and scammers.
