Vintage Raleigh Nottingham England Sturmey Archer 3 Speed Bicycle

Found these 2 bikes in my father's garage. My mom has been wanting to get rid of them for a while now, but I was wondering if they were worth holding onto. Unfortunately, he doesn't remember when he bought them. Since I don't know much else, I'm hoping these photos will tell more of the story. Please let me know if I should post more photos, because I took a few more of different labels and different angles.

Yes, more pix needed of " drive-train " side of bike. Also, look for numbers on the rear hubs, like " 7 64 " etc. & let us know.

Left is a ladies' Raleigh DL-1 Tourist rod brake bike. Would sell for $400-500 if it's all there and in alright condition. There's one listed on ebay right now for $1000, but I doubt it will sell. Two recent completed auctions went for $430 and $433, plus shipping.

Right is a Raleigh Sports, guessing from the decals it's around 1959-1960. Worth at least a couple hundred if it's in decent shape.

I sold this one years ago for $450.00 US plus shipping to Alaska. I think I got lucky with the selling price but one never knows. The right sales venue, good pictures, decent description and willingness to work on how to get the bike, will all contribute to final selling value. To that add that vintage bike interest varies, a lot, from area to area. And, yes, get some better more informative pictures...

Bikes: A Blue One and 2 Green One's, then there's the Yellow one. And oh, yeah, a Black One. Did I mention the Red One?

OP has had 11 years to get better photos. Seems long enough.

Around here, they are worth $200 a piece at most. Condition determines their worth.
