Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My 2015 Giant TCR Advanced 2. Love the bike so far, coming from an older aluminum Specialized Allez

My new bike. It's a '13 Raleigh Revenio Carbon 3.0. My last road bike was an '02 Allez with thumb shifter Sora components. Needless to say I'm in love. Threw on my mountain bike pedals so I could go for a ride. New road pedals are already ordered.

Picked it up off Amazon for $940.. it was an open box return. Had very light scratches on it and some weird paint stuff on the spacers but hey its a full carbon bike with a 22 speed drive train I ain't complaining!

Thank you, got a lot of advice from this forum too. Since the frame is not internal routing, it would have been awkward to mount the battery, plus price was a factor. When it's time to retire this one I'll probably upgrade to Di2.

^Nice Tarmac. Photos never do that model justice. The carbon weave looks really sweet in person. Is that a 52 or 54?

Just finished this build, haven't had the chance to ride because it actually rained here in California.

Excited to be on a bike that's actually more my size, old frame was 3 cm too big, as still evident by the straight post and slightly forward saddle.

New bars this weekend (hopefully)
