Cannondale "Hot Yellow" Opinions
In the market for a new CAAD12 and noticed that Hot Yellow is listed as an option on the Cannondale USA website. I'm curious what everyone's opinions are. Does this color rock or not?

I bought a Trek that was the same color with the idea it would make more visible to drivers. It didn’t work😂😂. The kid that hit hit me was looking at his phone. At least the color matches my hi vis colored clothing.

It's cool. I'm so tired of seeing so many black, white, gray, or silver bikes.

Wrong shade of yellow for me, if that pic's colour reproduction is accurate.

Here are some threads with more examples of Yellow bikes that you can compare to this Cannondale.
So many different shades of Yellow and obviously many different preferences amongst people about what appeals to them.

At least it's not just another black bike.

Not sure if I've come across that bike in the light of day. The color here doesn't look particularly "hot," but a lot of paint jobs these days are extra-vivid, so I figure there's a chance it's not your usual yellow. Maybe.
It's kind of old-fashioned, without being "retro," which is fine, but with the black lettering and all, it seems rather homely (like most C'dales, actually). With outline or light gray lettering, a sliver group and white bar tape a bright yellow bike might look nice, but as this is, black cages and bottles would probably balance everything out and it could look pretty sharp then - if you dig the bumble bee look, which I do.

Well...its a Cannondale, but has a sloping top tube.
Losing demographic left and right.
PS - not sure I care for the curve in the seat tube where it meets the BB. Shorten the chainstays for stiffness/acceleration. Ok.
Do this on a bike with an "endurance" height head tube? Maybe its a hybrid.

If you don't like Hot Yellow, there is always Black:
There is, however, this alternative.

I’m preferenced toward a more sunflower yellow than neon.

I’ve always liked yellow for a bike color, but not for a car. Never wanted to buy a “lemon” for a car. It looks very nice on a bike!
