HELP! Need saddle suggestions

I just recently purchased a new specialized Dorris expert , I absolutely LOVE the bike , but I would like to add the most comfortable saddle possible .
I had bought a specialized elaston , but it was not comfortable at all. I’m not concerned with how much the seat weighs or if it’s the most aero dynamic . I would like to be able to ride in as much comfort as possible . The bike is so light a little heavier /more comfortable saddle isn’t gonna hurt . I got the bike for casual rides with a more comfortable riding position.if I wanted to go all out for speed /efficiency I’d have opted for a road bike.Hoping there’s some saddle out there that is really comfortable

Well, there may be about as many threads about saddles as there are opinions about saddles. I did change mine when I purchased my Fx3 a couple of years ago. The saddle that came on it didn’t agree with its contact point. The bike shop did discount the replacement saddle since I bought the bike there. I ended up replacing that one later with a Brooks when I was given a gift card and wasn’t sure what else to use it for. I now have 2 saddles that I like.

What works for you really is a personal fit issue in my opinion. I’ve heard of bike shops that have multiple saddles they will let you try before you buy, so if you’re fortunate enough to have that option, use it. You may receive a lot of opinions on the best, most comfortable saddle on the market, and it probably is for that particular rider. Ultimately, your contact point will tell you what saddle will work for you. There really are many good choices out there.

Thumbs up Saddle

Performancebike.com has a saddle that I really like, Ensure Air. It is very comfortable, sleek looking and relatively light. I have tried many saddles and this one really works for me. It retails for about $50.

Is it the Forte Endure Air? It does look pretty nice. Wider and shorter saddles do indeed seem to be the most comfortable for me as well.

Anyone seen the Ergon ST Core Prime saddle??

It is kind of interesting . It has a layer of padding sandwiched between two parts ,foam is similar to what adidas boost used on their shoes

Could you post a link? If you search Performance Bike's website for "ensure air", there are no hits. There's an "Endure Air" saddle, but not an "Ensure Air" saddle.

The WTB saddles are nice especially the ones with the dna paddling. I bought the wtb rocket elite linked below. Elite is a one size performance bike exclusive. It's my size and was a bargain. But WTB saddles come in different shapes, sizes and price levels.

Important is to measure your "sit" bones and get the right width saddle.

You really just need to test saddles. Popular saddles such as the Brooks B17 and C17 didn't agree with me, but they are often recommend.
