If this is your first attempt, I think you are doing great...I have made several but not a front wheel drive.

Very nice!
How's riding it?
If you haven't already, take a look at the Cruzbike videos. (You can also read about my experience learning to ride a MBB bike).
Cheers,
Charles

I made one similar to yours with a 26" mountain bike from back to steering tube AND welded a steering tube and fork from a 16" childs bike...used a seat stem welded forward from the steering tube to hold the bottom bracket and then had to run the chain from that to the back wheel...used a plastic kitchen chair as my seat.
I can not find my pic of it.

Looks like a low-riding FWD. Interesting...
How does it handle?

wow ! a MBB as a first attempt, brave man !
looks really good.... do you think its strong enough ? thats why i went with exhaust pipe, heavier but based on previous experience, better for my needs.
nice build pics too....let us know how it continues to ride eh !

it rides quite well :-) and I have been out a few times on it now and it seems strong nothing has gone wrong. but using exhaust pipe I think is a great idea. i have already been thinking of better ways I could have done little things to make it better during the build that now I am already planning into my next project...........a chopper / low rider bike :-D
