Moved from an industrial park in Addison to West Chicago in 1991. As mentioned in another post, the bicycle had been featured in Popular Science Best of What's New, and they needed a bigger facility. I can still remember the smell of those Italian beefs from a little stand down the street!

Just picked one up yesterday. The belt that surrounds the rear cable is deteriorating. Does anyone know where to find a replacement. If I can't find one, I'm going to use a regular brake cable and find some type of sleeve to go over the cable. I don't think just regular cable housing will work.

Not racing.
It's always interesting to me to see engineering solutions that aren't evolutionary, but come from an utterly different approach. I love Swedish cars for the same reason. Thanks for sharing these.

FWIW- As best I recall, after The Yankee Bike Co got out of marketing their bike.... it was “Nordic Trak” exercise equipment manufacturer who marketed it for a short while thereafter... dunno if that might lead you or anyone looking for spare parts or not (??!)

Thanks for suggestions. I'll do some searching today and see if they're still in business and if they have spare parts.
