FD installation with Biopace chainrings

Is there anything special with installing a FD with Biopace chainrings? Just the usual "penny" clearance for the large chainring (at the maximum radius, of course)?

This is the first set of Biopace chainrings I've had and I at least want to give myself a fighting chance to see how well they work (or don't). They were factory installed on the bike when I bought it.

Thanks in advance.

That's all you need to do. With the matching derailleurs they always shifted fine.

Nothing special. As you say, make sure there's enough clearance for the max-diameter part of the chainring.

I have never had to do anything special with the derailleur when using Biopace rings other than set the height as the OP mentions.
