Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Been working on this for past 3 weeks and now I'm done. Ended up taking the whole bike apart and redoing all the cable routing with foam sleeves while routing the dropper. Hopefully the trails will be good to go this weekend from all the rain we got couple weeks ago.

^^OMG!
Gravel bike with dropper post and suspension fork. All you need are flat bars and it'll be a 29r XC bike!

I picked up a sale price demo Chris Cross from Fat Chance. I've had my eye on these since they were first intro'd, love the tapered head tube. I've only done the one quick shakedown ride on it but it seems a fun, lively little bike! Features 650bX48 Compass tires.

Tim, you will have to let us know how you like those new wheels compared to your old ones…

I really can't say the American Classic RACE 29 wheels were great.

Yes, they were light and 32 spokes held them together pretty well. In fact, I think the fact that they were 32 spoke is what made them last as long as they did. The hub was bad from the factory and the front seal design was such that the bearings dried out very quickly. Then there was the whole interoperability issue with tires blowing off the rim. 3200 miles and they are ready to be retired.

I've only ridden the new wheels around the subdivision. They are almost as light as the AC wheels. I9 hubs are LOUD!

Not much, but it's exactly what I wanted. Won't win any awards, KOMs, or style points. Bone stock Cannondale Topstone Sora. Red pedals won't be staying, waiting on my black Crank Bros to come in.

Wow, my experience with the AC Races couldn't be any more opposite. They've been nothing short of bombproof.

Rawland xSogn with Zepto Handlebar Bag

This is my Rawland xSogn low trail 650b gravel bike. I don't know if I will ever be able to ride a non-low trail bike again.

I'd like to know more about this. Are the specs for this build posted anywhere?

This thing looks like fun.

Maybe its coincidence but every time I ride with someone on one of these I struggle to keep up.

I like that setup. I almost went that route, but found an amazing deal on my Slate.

Carbonda 505 with Ultegra 6800 hydro. Road/Dirt setup (700x36 Challenge Strada Bianca TLR), but I have two other wheelsets including XTR 650B with Panaracer 650x48. This bike can do it all.

Thanks. I had a Slate which was replaced by this one because I was offered an awesome deal on it and lefty in the front was driving me nuts because if I wanted a second set of hoops it would have to be custom.

I just bought a few Project 321 components including a 1.0 hub to fit the Enve G23 wheels. It's a PITA but I love the ride from the lefty. How's the Fox AX?

I like the Fox AX. Once tuned properly it damps better than the Oliver but the Oliver is better at climbing I would say. Climbing based on both forks not being locked out. The Oliver definitely has it beat on ease of setup. I do like the way more tuning options the Fox has though.

I did the P321 steerer conversion on my Slate as well. The extra stack you can add on the XL really helps with the geometry.
