I'm putting this video here only because at least one of the exhibitors, when asked about overrated bike tech, said that most people, most bike riders, just need a hybrid bike!

I never see motorcyclists leading their bikes against a wall, or a fence post... ;-)

I had a race bike without a sidestand because they could contact the asphalt while leaned over and cause a crash. So yes, I did occasionally lean it against a wall when I didn't have a track stand neaby 😅

Trials bikes, MX bikes, MotoGP bikes, no kickstand.

But you’re correct street going motorcycle makes sense to have kickstand.

I’m actually going to take the kickstand off my kids bike because she uses it the wrong way and the bike falls over anyway. So I’ll have her just gently put her bike down.
