Hello bike forums peeps
hey-
i'm a nyc commuter, going from brooklyn to manhattan and back at least once, often twice a day. i ride a used schwinn super sport, i'm guessing mid-80's due to the paint job. i've only had it about 6 months and i'm quickly learning that used bikes, this one anyway, come with some maintenance issues. so for now i'm taking it to the lbs, but i'm trying to learn how to do basic maintenance, but am also quickly learning that that seems to be somewhat tool dependent. at any rate, not having to ride the subway has been on one the best things that has happened to me here.
