I'd like to regain a little cardio fitness this month. I have a fairly extensive abdominal and kidney surgery in the middle of May, so I'll be off the bike then for at least 3 weeks, maybe a month. If I don't ramp up my fitness before then, it's going to be a rough summer. I'll shoot for the 500 miles I didn't make last month.

Lost my mojo after RAGBRAI last year. I'm finally back biking the last couple of weeks, but it will take awhile to build up again. Preplanned travel gets in the way this month, but I'm hoping to get in a solid 200mi.

Had a Cottontail rabbit race me about half way into my ride this morning. Joker was doing 16 MPH in a straight line two feet beside me. It creeped him out when I closed in on him. After about 40 feet he took a hard right and was gone.

Slow start for me this month, haven't ridden since Feb 25. Rain and evening events. Hoping to get out tonight, otherwise won't likely get a chance to ride before Friday. I'll shoot for 200 miles, although I should be able to do more.
