My brother in law was a big KISS fan. Don't know why. When his daughter was about 10 she discovered his old KISS LPs, and became a fanatic. As she matured she became less of a fan. Now she is embarrassed about it.
If I was a KISS fan, I would keep it to myself.

...asleep at the wheel does a good version of Hot Rod Lincoln. It's not Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen, but it's pretty good.

Reminds me of a story from someone from Colorado that fell asleep on a heater and when he finally woke him up his jacket was burnt like a waffle but luckily he wasn’t hurt. Now if that beer story is true I don’t know or care as long as it was a good story
That sunburn reminds me of this video.

People seem to think that the virus will be understanding and fair. After all, since all those protestors got together and did stuff, shouldn't non protestors be able to get their hair cut?
It's like a bad horror movie, where people seem to make decisions to guarantee the most carnage.
We've just seen the beginning of the beginning.

Co-founder of Maryland group that protested for state to reopen tests positive for coronavirus
"I did have a hard day yesterday. I told you guys I wasn't feeling really well. I crashed later in the day, had to go to the emergency room. I thought I was actually having a stroke ... turns out I had Covid," he said in the video, continuing later: "As you can see, I'm not dying. It's uncomfortable. I would make it akin to having the flu."This guy felt so unwell he had to go to the emergency room, thought he was having a stroke, and states its like having the flu. Yea, right.
He might have infected his family. His wife and son are being tested. Another genius.

It looks like Texas is reversing much of their "reopening" to try to curb the spread of the virus.
.
.
Earlier dire reports about hospital beds? Apparently the beds aren't quite full... nonetheless, capacity is up.
So, they could probably double the current 700 occupied ICU beds and still be reasonably OK, although it would put an extreme strain on the system.

Houston Moves to ‘Severe’ Covid Warning. Will Enough People Listen?
In Texas’ most populous county, officials are again urging people to stay home, saying this flood of cases will be worse than the last one.
Earlier dire reports about hospital beds? Apparently the beds aren't quite full... nonetheless, capacity is up.
About 700 patients with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, occupied intensive care unit hospital beds Saturday in the 25-county region surrounding Houston, according to the SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council. The number of regional ICU patients has increased for eight consecutive days, rising by nearly 50 percent.
The 25-county region reported 2,042 beds occupied by all ICU patients, the highest total since the pandemic arrived in Houston in March. The number of occupied ICU beds typically has hovered between about 1,700 and 1,950 during that time.
The region’s base capacity of ICU beds is 2,202, with a surge capacity of 2,644.

I’m near Bexar County. Everybody here started off taking proper precautions then the state set everything loose and this happened. Actually what you posted above. Too many NOBODY TELLS ME WHAT TO DO BS! I don’t like it but I take all precautions the health care professionals are screaming about trying to get everyone to listen. I wear my KISS mask and I keep hand sanitizer in my truck. I even wash the groceries down before I put them up. Overkill? Maybe and I don’t care. I see too many SELFISH people here that don’t gives two bits of a **** about other people.

The sad thing here is that Texas has time to watch places line Washington and New York, and learn from our experiences.

Yup, there was plenty of time to implement the necessary steps. The UT medical center was telling everybody in this area the risks. Few listened.

Banned.
The "new cases" are completely fictional. The "coronavirus test" is one of the great scams in world history.
First of all the "coronavirus" has never been isolated by anyone.
Second, what is being labeled "coronavirus" is actually a random sequence of genetical material taken from lung fluid. There is no evidence that this gene sequence is from a "virus" much less a "coronavirus."
Third, the genetic sequence being touted as "coronavirus" or a strain of "sars" is only a 79% match for the alleged "sars" virus. To put this in context, humans and chimpanzees are a 96% genetic match.
Fourth, the mortality rate for "coronavirus" is a mere 0.1%. The mortality rate in the general population is 10x higher at 1.0% In other words, you are 10X as likely to die if you DON'T have coronavirus.
Therefore, any "test" for "coronavirus" is completely invalid. The "test" is for a random genetic sequence, not for a virus. Predictably, 80% of those who test "positive" are reportedly asymptomatic. This number is surely inflated as those reporting the results are totally incompetent.
This is all a huge scam proving how stupid most people truly are.

Yup, not surprised. At the beginning most people were doing the right thing but after awhile everyone got careless. Now we have a major spike. People here are not realizing that a virus doesn’t have a particular agenda it going to do what it is going to do. It doesn’t care who or what you are. I’m a Fascist Pig and I could get infected like anybody else. The governor now says he will take proper measures if the cases double
Why not now before it gets to that point? I’m not a fan of staying home all the time and wearing a mask when I need to go get groceries. But I’m doing it because I think I’m smart and rational enough to do what is necessary for myself and everyone else. I think I’m going to ask the virus what is you’re favorite type of music? Do you prefer paper of plastic at Walmart? What is you’re favorite food? FRIKIN insane.
