Probably the last ride of the year for me as wind gusts of up to 20 mph are expected until Wednesday night when a cool front with lots of rain comes in Thursday at dawn. So I didn't meet my goal but I've had a great year riding, despite my two months off because of my surgery in July and August. It was extremely windy this morning and I worked extremely hard for those 30 miles. Happy New Year everyone!

To correct yesterday’s post...I had not yet hit my goal. I was 9 miles short, so I took care of that this morning. I’m at 10,003 miles for the year and still 25 miles short for December, but I think I’m going to take the rest of the year off!

Very impressive. I’m not sure I can top 10,000 miles until I retire. And find a better saddle.

That’s a fine year of riding!

Congrats on the 10,000 miles, that's quite a bit, its been a fun year riding all those miles and a new bike.
My goal at the beginning of this year was 7000 miles, it was to do better than the previous year.

When you find the right saddle, you will know. Six of my bikes have the same saddle now.

Happy end of the year everyone. It's been a great year watching everyone's mileage pileup and keeping up with everyone on this thread, it always encourages me to ride more.
Well, have a great new year. I won't be riding as much this year because of travel this up coming year.

I completed 35 hours of stuff (Bike, Gym, Treadmill).
That makes 2,100 miles of biking on the new knee I got in July. Less than what I wanted but with December being all indoors I'll take it. Indoors I get 0 miles no matter how hard or how long I am on the bike.
