I used to own one in the mid 80s and I am trying to figure out what model it was. Unfortunately I have no pics of it and my parents ditched it after I left home almost 30 years ago... Has anybody got an idea what it could be? I searched through BMX Museum but couldn't find any bike resembling mine. Special feats I remember: gold frame (like chrome but gold), gold anodized seatpost with grooves on it. One piece crank (heavy as hell). In my memory it was a stunning looking bike. Unfortunately I cracked the frame at the seatpost jumping and then the big modifying started and I basically ruined it because I was 15 and had no idea how to work on a bike...

I had A hand me down BMX bike from one of my brothers G-boy around 1980 that was gold.
The weld holding the BB to down tube was cracked/busted about half way though when I received the bike.
Lets just say the frame did not last very long after I received it.

Hey Joeyseven, do you still have the G-Boy frameset? I work for a bike shop and I am trying to restore a customers but cannot find a headset to fit. Can you sell me your headset or at least help me with info about what might be on it? Perhaps close-up photos?
