hope he recovers fully. awful to be in a collision with a motor vehicle.
I thought RAAM required riders to have a chase car more or less acting as a running block behind at all times- is this not the case?

they don't have to be there, but they usually are. They have to be within 30 minutes. They had pulled ahead temporarily
