Swapped out the Avid for the Hy Rd TRP ... front brake too touchy, the Hydro Hybrid is better..

Should have used a carbon fork, likely lose some weight and better disc caliper mount.

Rear brake probably doesn't need to be disc, since the smaller wheel diameter and more braking force, rear wheel would likely lock up more easily under heavy brwking.
