My Track Pump Is Trying to Kill Me!
I have a Silca Pista Plus pump. Every time I try to remove the chuck from the valve it comes off really hard and it results in my knuckles slamming into the spokes. Is there a trick to removing the Silca presta chuck from the valve without tearing my knuckles apart?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Saliva spit in the chuck lubes the rubber. Only tighten the chuck's cap enough to keep from loosening, any more will compress the rubber. Get a different chuck that uses a compression lever. Andy

Usually a pump track is more dangerous than a track pump
