Camino Real Double(just found out a few things so this ride may be somewhat questionable)
Spring Solvang Double
Davis Double
Grand Tour Double
possibly Hemet, or Fall Solvang. As for Hemet I may see if I can volunteer with the Bulls that are going to run a sag (or 2)

So far this year Mrs. Grouch and I have discussed spending a few days in Xenia, Ohio and (if our schedules allow) going to the Midwest Recumbent Rally in Stevens Point, WI.

I don't do a ton of organized rides. Always the fundraiser for Community Cycling Center, The Worst Day of the Year Ride. Except last year it was canceled. It was the worst day of the year! All registrations were applied to this year. Feb 8th.
I do Cycle Oregon and have since '10 except the following year I had multiple broken ribs and collarbone so I showed up minus bike and traveled with the camp crews. Fun. And an eye-opener! Wow, does a lot of work happen between arrival at 10 am to some large tents set up, semi trucks all over the place, banks of porta potties and a city of tents. Three hours later as riders arrive, the place is humming!
Made up for not riding by doing the next year's hilly Crater Lake ride on my fix gear. This year? Who knows. The course is a secret to be unveiled in a couple of weeks. (Feb 4th, at the presentation at Portland's Art Museum and the web. Sign-up will start the next day at noon. 2000 slots, First come, first served.) I may have a surgery facing me, I have done the ride now twice fixed. I have nothing to prove. But I will be there if my body isn't cold. And maybe meet some of you?

Cycle Oregon looks like a great ride, just a little to expensive for my budget - especially considering I'd have to throw in air fare, too.

I'd like to ride the two organized centuries in Door County WI and the Maywood Earth Ride in Sheboygan. I rode two of the three last year on a mountain bike and I'm sure I was silently mocked. So this year I'm thinking about riding them on the fat tire bike. I like to suffer.
We'll see.

The 5-day Katy Trail Ride in June. This will be my 5th year in a row.
2015 Katy Trail Ride | Missouri State Parks
The Tour de Cure century ride for the St. Louis area. I think it's near Grafton Illinois this year.
At least one other century.
I'm also signed up for 3 half marathons including the Flying Pig Half in Cincinnati.

For me, possible rides are
1. Detroit Randonneurs 200 West 200k, April 25.
2. Downriver Club Metro Grand Spring Tour, not sure of the date - usually flat and chilly.
3. One Helluva Ride, July
4. Horsey Hundred
5. Ride Around Torch Lake, near Traverse City, MI
6. Assenmacher 100
7. Shoreline MUP
8. Hancock Horizontal 100
9. Perhaps the Pennsyslvania from Jim from Boston.

What I have in mind is to create events!
First, please read this: https://www.bikeforums.net/commuting/...e-longish.html
I want to turn this into rides around the city, to have fun and explore. Themed rides, discovery/treasure hunt rides - I have a list of about 20 ideas that I want to make real this season. NYC area folks, are you in? PM me!

My schedule is getting a little busy, or ambitious depending on how you look at it.
In April, I plan to ride the Gap/CO from Pittsburgh to Washington,
In May a local fundraiser overnight for the Kal Haven Trail,
In June a weekend to the lake for the Waterfront Film Fest,
Later in June Katy Trail from KC to St Louis,
July Home to central Illinois via the IM canal trail for a class reunion,
August Hopefully The Laurentians north of Montreal,
September I'm hosting a gravel ride and Art Prize trip at Yankee Springs.
October the Pennsylvania ride if it happens.
I'll probably work in a couple of charity rides in between somewhere.
Marc

Battenkill Gran Fondo, Raid Rockingham, Vermont Overland Gran Prix to name a few. More dirt/gravel events this year to mix it up and get off the beaten path after several years of doing mostly the same road centuries with the exception of D2R2.

I signed up for the Tour de Cure 100 in June. I want to do some other rides around the state but will have to see what my work schedule allows. One of my goals is to complete a gravel century. Two tries and two fails in the past two years but it turned out that I was riding with a 95% blockage in a coronary artery each time and had a heart attack within a few weeks after the event both times. Maybe I should take poor performance at a century as a reason to visit my cardiologist, kind of a DIY stress test.

Mrs. Grouch and I are Mules (Missouri Union of Longbike Enthusiasts). We might consider that. Madison is only about 300 miles from St Louis.

Have a few in mind, along with my must do rides, the Seattle Tour de Cure and the 8 Lakes Leg Aches in Spokane. Planning on the Spokane Lilac Century, The flying wheels century in Redmond and the Inland empire century in the Tri Cities. If I can finally get the time off, the Manashtash Metric in Ellensburg is a ride that I have always wanted to do.
