Going from 160 to 180mm rotor

Hello,
If I am going from a 160mm to 180mm rotor, do I need a new caliper or any extra parts???

You'll need an adapter to put your current caliper in the correct location to work with the larger rotor. The actual adapter depends on the type of brake caliper(post mount or flat mount), the mounts on the frame(Post, Flat or IS mounts) and whether it is a front or rear brake.

Thank you, I need a second opinion now. The shop just called me and told me that 1 bolt I up in there broke. I put in 1 bolt that was too long. I might need a new hub

Sorry, but this question makes no sense. " 1 bolt I up in there broke" " I put in 1 bolt that was too long."
I simply don't get it

Which do you prefer: 6-bolt or Centerlock disc brakes?
