Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah for me that frame, plus more standard non-gold parts and some slicks is what I'm thinking for urban riding. I think it's the stance of it, the shape of the rims (not sure what kind they are) and the frame that really grabbed me.

So the new Wabi is ugly and this freak bike is hot? Ok.

If it was given to me I couldn't sell it fast enough.

Hmmm, top-quality parts tarted up to look like an Urban Outfitters window display? They say you can't polish a turd but I guess you can smear dung on a diamond.

The cost is probably based on how it's produced and the quality of materials plus profit margin, marketing and target audience.

Worth is up to you.

FTW isn't the welder for Squid. These are all built in Sacramento by Ventana.

The whole point of Squid bikes is to look cool, and I'm OK with that.
