Who makes Tandems now a days?

Hmmm....CoMotion, Santana, Calfee, DaVinci, Bike Friday, KHS, Hawthorne, Seven (maybe, not sure), Trek (maybe, not sure), several others. Looking for high end, low end? Steel, titanium, carbon fiber?

I’ll go next: Bilenky.
PS: I believe Trek has been out of the business or like 10 years.

You're probably right on Trek, don't see 'em right off on the website. I know used ones are not uncommon, and don't normally shop Trek bikes, period.
Last time I checked, Cannondale didn't show tandems on the website, but I've seen other people say that new tandems (from 2-3 year old stock) were still available.
I think Micargi makes low-end cruiser types.
There are several recumbent tandems available, I believe.
Worksman makes a cruiser-type tandem.
Schwinn, Salsa, Ritchey, Kulana, Pacific, Rodriquez come up in a search.

Ventana near me in Rancho Cordova makes a full suspension MTB tandem, and a fat one, and they also make the Fandango and Gigi frames for MTB Tandems. The Fandango or Jefe is going to be my next bike purchase.
Nicolai in Germany does, I think? Maybe only as customs. They did the “Random Tandem” for Martyn Ashton
Salsa only did the Powderkeg for one year and it seems like the serious MTB’ers laughed it off as a hybrid. Too low, and a wimpy build, and steel-flexy.

Hokitika by Tandems East. They also list Land Shark on their web site. Some of these builders are gone but this is a comprehensive list. https://www.cyclingabout.com/list-of...-with-pricing/

Cycles Chinook in New Hampshire does Ti tandems.
Landscape in (Great Britain?). Aluminum frames built in Czech Republic, carbon fiber frames built in France (by Cyfac?).
XACD and Waltly in China make Ti tandem frames.
Cyfac in France has built CF tandems.
Ti Cycles builds steel and Ti tandems.

My (German) 2-cents:

https://www.poison-bikes.de/Rahmen/Tandem/
https://www.juchem-bike.de/ (strictly custom)

...don't know who will ship overseas and for what cost...
...most of the frames are welded in far east anyway (except Juchem as far as I know)...

Trek made the T900 right up until at least 2015+. We got ours new in 2016 but it had been on the floor for several months. Performer makes hybrid recumbent tandems (Bilenky knock-off) as well as regular tandems for major brands. They made this double recumbent tandem under their own name, but I don't think they do so anymore. We got ours in 2017. Did anyone mention Raleigh? They had at least three models: Coupe, Companion, and Prestige. I think one model remains and it looks rather interesting.

I just spent a few minutes on their site looking at that bike. Their site is really undergoing major changes. They never sold standard bikes under their own name. Anyway, there is a "Bike Sizing and Fit" tab on the Carbon Tandem page that answers (IMO) any possible question a person could have. I had a really hard time ordering from them. They mean well but English is definitely a difficult language for them to communicate in. If you want you can PM me with your question(s). They won't respond if they think you can get the information easier somewhere else.

Some more in Europe: Duratec, Matrix, Dolan.
I also think/hope Cannondale while not making tandems each year, will continue make them every other year or so.

Looks very nice but <3k gets you a frame only. No extra charge for custom. Good price.

Cyfac in France make carbon tandems (the boss at the bike shop where I used to work bought one a couple of years ago):
