Simple/Minimalistic Track & Road Frame Suggestions
Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster.
I am having trouble tracking down a clean/simple/minimalistic bike frame. Going for a porteur single speed bike build and less is more. Am I crazy or these kind of frames are super hard to find?
Main things I mean:
-no water bottle mounts
-no brake line leads
-straight fork
-no ornamental tubing, just plain
-no head logo/logos (preferably)
-somewhat lightweight
-hopefully in chrome/bronze/copper/cream
Willing to purchase a bike whole and replace parts as well. I have attached a few pictures for visual reference although some of them may break the guidelines listed above, they are for guidance on what I mean.
Thanks guys, show me your expertise!

Check out MissionBicycle. Might fit your needs, more specifically their "Valencia" frame set.

Definitely not worth the starting price of $1000. #sfmarkup #techiemarkup
I really hate to say it but you'll be getting more value by getting something from MASH transit. And that means a lot coming from me.

You can get frame and fork for 399 I believe. Still expensive for sure, but they are nice.

But that frame actually has less than what you need since it isn't drilled for brakes. You don't really seem to know what you want since porteur bikes are supposed to have baskets and whatnot. Maybe you should look here for some ideas:

There are some kilotts in there.

Hey guys, can you do my shopping for me, because I don't know my ******* from my earhole, and I saw a fixie on a GAP commercial and now I want one before they are out of vogue so I can wax my mustache and wear my clam diggers, smoking a pipe and drinking gin as I ride around the city pontificating about days gone by, that I missed by about 100 years.....

He had a list of requirements that he was having a hard time matching. Where else should he ask? He's a hipster. So what? Who isn't?

A straight blade fork would be incorrect for a Porteur. Curved only, if you are actually going for a "Proper" build.
A track frame would be a poor choice as well.
Also, "ornate" tubing and snazzy lugs would be desirable.

I think the Soma Rush has removable decals. It's chromed and I would say it's fairly minimalistic, except from the water bottle bosses.

Aren't FG/SS bikes were pretty "minimalistic" as is, generally? How much more minimal do you wanna go? Maybe leave off the seat(saddle) and just stand all the time? I'm not trying to be mean, honestly, I just think it's a dumb post, especially from a "long time lurker". It's basically another person asking the internet what they should get. Hell, like someone mentioned, the "Townie" thread probably has all the answers.

I think this guy is somewhere in the middle. He has been looking and thinking. Like when I asked about Omnium cranks or.... You ****ers are not going to make my choice for me, but instead give me things to think about. The only ones that bother me, or are stupid to me, are the ones in which even a minimum of reading would have answered it.

If you know what you want and are willing to pay for what you want, there is a means that has been around for oh, 130 years. Find a framebuilder and have him build it. With the right builder, this need not be very expensive. You aren't looking at fancy tubes or lugs. No braze-ons. Just a basic bike. And along the way, you get a bike with perfect fit.

I just feel like dude would have found all his answers, if he would've just looked at the townie thread, since a lot of you have really good bikes and info in there. I mean, when I start my townie "build", that's where I'm gonna look, if I have questions.
