how do these roll on pavement? I'm looking at them for my secondary wheelset that I could use when my ride may have more pavement than gravel but still want something that will be okay on gravel.

You don't want the mix for a pavement heavy route. The Zero, Dry, and any other file/smooth tread tire will be noticeably better.

perfect. Thanks. I think the zero is what I want. Sometimes I like taking my gravel bike out on pavement but like the bigger tires and option to go off-road. Zero looks like what I want

Bikes: Co-Motion Cappuccino Tandem,'88 Bob Jackson Touring, Co-Motion Cascadia Touring, Open U.P., Ritchie Titanium Breakaway, Frances Cycles SmallHaul cargo bike. Those are the permanent ones; others wander in and out of the stable occasionally as well.

I agree. Too much buzz on pavement, not a good choice. I am riding the Dry right now and love it as a good multipurpose tire.
