MRP has the LRP (Long Range Patrol). It is a guide that allows for two rings. E.13 makes the DRS (Dual Ring Security) for the same purpose. First, decide what chainring size you would like to run. The hardrock comes with 22/32/44. Then decide what guide you like. The E.13 guides are very, very strong and have a bulletproof bashguard. I am running a Gamut USA P40 guide with a 38t E.13 chainring. Remember, the hardrock doesnt have ISCG mounts, so you need the BB mount.

The hardrocks have really bad chainslap, which can be reduced by shortening the chain and/or getting a med. cage derailluer. If you do this, you will lose the ability to shift into some gears.

Get the DRS. I have one and it is literally bombproof!! Honestly how often do you use your big ring?

e.13 makes some pretty hardcore parts, but I'll just stick to my stock Kona Chain Guide.

When you think about it you really only need the small one, unless you like to go really fast downhill...that's where the big third ring comes in handy.
