Help!!! whitewalls needed for retro bike!

Ok, i know im opening myself up for ridicule on a mtb forum but here goes, a couple of weeks ago i rescued an ailing mountain bike circa 1992 i am going to retore it as a project kind of like a retro hotrod mountain bike, for commuting round the city, just got a acouple-a questions,

q1- the frame is about an inch or so smaller than my gt and i am 6ft 1-2 is that a problem? will i look demented riding this thing?

q2-can you get 140 spoke mtb wheels?

q3-can you get whitewalls to suit mtb??? doesnt matter if they are slicks.

When was the last time you saw a mountain bike ridden on a trail with WHITEWALLS? You said it yourself that you'd catch hell for posting this here. You want to "restore retore it as a project kind of like a retro hotrod mountain bike, for commuting" sounds like you need to ask questions in "Commuting" or "Alt Bikes"

You really don't want to keep this up. It won't end well.
You were wrong to post this here and you know it. Hell you could have posted this in "General Bike Discussion"

edit
Actually "Alt Bikes" would be right up your alley with the 140 spoke wheels

Then ask your question in the correct forum Sparky.
You knew you were going to catch hell but you posted in the wrong spot anyway. Not the best of plans if you want decent answers

You know this thread would be fine if you just leave him alone and him and everyone else can work it out them selves.
