In Chrome and Windows 10 I'm getting a text based view. Looks like this:

I, too, am still seeing ads. I logged out, logged back in. Still, ads along the right side.
On the other hand, I have seen forums change styles / formatting, and there are always bugs to work out. I'm just happy the site is back up and running, and I hope the admins work this out as soon as it is realistic for them to do so. Thanks for all the efforts.

+1, though I just logged out and back in for the fourth time and the ads on the right have disappeared. Now it's just a banner ad at the bottom of the page (since I disabled that annoying infinite scroll thing).

Edit: Well, ads seem to be gone now. Thanks mods!

Now seeing ads between posts, see pic below.
How does one disable the infinite scrolling?

Try clearing out your cache.

Ads should disappear soon for those with Titanium. Cache must restart. Do try logging out and back in too.

Still seeing ads between posts.
In case this matters, desktop, Windows 7pro, Chrome browser.

The teal font used as a default for thread titles doesn't have enough contrast with the rest of the page when using a desktop browser.

Is there an option to turn the Forums menu list back to the old format. To go to the Australia/New Zealand regional subforum was previously one click for instance. It is now a several click and move operation.

I can get there from one click... not sure what you mean. Screen shot maybe?

Can we have a skin colour that mimics the old yellow and white scheme, this teal one is so generic and bland.

I seem to have solved the problem. I logged out on my phone (iPhone 7), logged back in on my phone. Now ads between posts on desktop seem to be gone.

Have to say that the mobile version is going to take some getting used to, but it is considerably better than it was before (or so it seems to me).

Only thing I can find that's broken is that the image upload button doesn't work in Quick Reply mode.

And one very minor thing, it would be nice to have an option to turn off the bottom-of-the-screen menu bar.

Oops. I can find the once click display now. I got confused by the new colour scheme. I was trying to get to it from the Forums drop down/expandable menu. If you choose that it was move the cusor to the Community Connections menu and then click on regional discussions then you had to click on the link for the regional sub-forum you wanted.

QR image uploading is working for me. Click the little picture icon and follow the prompts.

Turn off Infinite Scroll in UserCP, edit options.

Ok, what's with the spinny arrows at the bottom? Saw this in C&V in the ebay/craigslist thread. (picture the two arrows at the bottom spinning around)

edit: I turned off infinite scrolling and the spinny arrows went away.

Thanks for getting rid of the low-contrast teal. It is better contrast now, but still not quite as good as before. Maybe it is the fonts.

Agreed. Better contrast needed IMO. It's kind of upsetting actually.

I should have mentioned that what I'm seeing is a grayish print not exactly black and thus diminished contrast. Not easy on the eyes.

The new logo on the banner, PLEASE! give us the old one back by default. It's like GENERIC to the max, like those engine displacement stickers on small cars. Not classy.

Don't care about the rest of the redesign, it's probably better.

Auto-scrolling WILL be defeated though. I have enough problems with poor mouse tracking causing jumping now and then, it's old crap on a second life I use.

An observation: while using the “full site” style on my phone, the style I prefer (vs. mobile version), the text size in posts is
HUGE
And almost painful to read.
