Schwinn Le Tour Mid Reach Brake Recommendations

Originally I had Dia Compe center pulls but prefer side pull brakes. Recently coveredco from 27 to 700c and looking for nutted miss reach brakes that won't break the bank. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I have a Le Tour I converted to 700c, tried using Shimano long reach 105's, the front worked but had to swap out to a Tektro R559 long reach side pull for the rear.

After some measuring and test fitting I think I'll have to mix and match Tektro R539/559 for front/rear respectively. Appreciate the info.

Tektro R737 are way better

I've got an '83 Super Sport that I changed to all modern components, and the Tektro R737 are the best, their finish is very nice, I like their finish better than Shimano or Sram!

I thought about it, but for the cost it just is not worth it since I am looking to change out the center pulls for side pulls. Rather have bolt on that look proportional F/R. Good call though.
