wider bars may help take some pressure off the shoulder joints them self. May move the pressure lower down the arm, won't know til you try and saving $180 while doing it. They also come with 2yr warranty

I am resisting temptation to purchase another bike .... especially since my shoulder surgery is going to impact riding for a while. I'm riding this Sat the ALC LA Kickoff ride 40 mile route. I will try to ride a bit as my shoulder allows up until surgery so I may have to put these bars on once they get here! Can you imagine getting them and not being able to ride them before surgery????

I freakin' BENT a pedal axle last night... stood up to power over a fake hill on zwift and then got sad trombone. The pedal had unthreaded a little... hope the crank arm isn't damaged.
So that's two things I've never done before... bent a pedal axle or had one come slightly undone in the first place. I didn't like them anyway (Shimano 105). I have Look Keos on one road bike and speedplay on the other and as luck would have it, got a new set of Keos in the mail Wednesday.

Well.
The steerer is cut on the Bianchi. No more periscope; just a lonely 0.5cm spacer atop the stem, and it's equally lonely 0.5cm friend below it. At least I have a huge range of adjustability, right?
Nice job on the pedals, @TrojanHorse. Why are you Zwifting in the summer, though?!

My (now) trainer bike also has bars I am not fond of, and I think I'm going to return the saddle to REI and get another Specialized Power for it. That'll actually save me money, that I can use to get a Wahoo KICKR Core maybe to replace my TacX non-direct drive trainer. Once the new wheels come in for the Bianchi.

Mine arrived yesterday, before I even had time to start obsessing about tracking them.The bar shape is a *little* more angular than my other zipps but looks good. I'm wracked by indecision... which bike to put them on?

Well, it looks like the 105 pedals I don't really like actually survived the experience but it DOES look like I damaged the threads in the non-drive side crank arm (Thank goodness it's the NDS!)
Might have to investigate tapping the threads... or maybe I just throw a spare ultegra crank arm on there and tell my OCD matchy-matchy inner self to shut up.

Alright @expatbrit, here's the old-timey version of your bike: I swapped it out the trainer for my Pinarello (sacrilege!) and realized I need to really raise that saddle a lot! I don't know why it feels so stretched out, maybe I just need a different stem when I swap out the bars... which I happen to have laying around already anyway.

I, in a fit of brilliance, decided that despite the occasional rain flurries riding outside was a good idea. I pulled the Defy 3 off the trainer because, well — foul weather bike, eh? I mean. It has rim brakes and so on and the Bianchi has disks bit...
Short Ride was the plan. There’s a spot just thru’ the pass where a canyon turns off that is pretty close to exactly 10 miles from my house. So I went there. On the way out the temps were dropping from the 55 when I left down to about 40 — and right as I turned round, it started raining and dropped another 5 degrees. Fortuitously, I had a jacket on. Sadly, I had shorty gloves and shorts. 7 miles of near freezing rain and wing was immensely entertaining, and the 44 or so it was when I got home felt lovely and warm. My hip and knee both were decidedly unhappy, though.
In other news, the Giant remains much squishier feeling. I don’t know if it is the frame, wheels, or what!! Also, the Antares is gonna away and another power will come home. Oh well.
