Dr. Pete, you doin' the radio thing?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, at last check the ride with Dr. Pete here in Knave country wasn't going to happen this week...something about his relatives having all his time spoken for during his visit here. (they didn't tell you about this part of being married in the manual did they?!)

But he did say he might try to visit me at work at least for one of the infamous studio pictures to be posted here.

Let me know Dr. Pete...always nice to meet a fellow BF member.

botto's gonna visit and ride with me this summer. Should be great to have him wait for me at the top of every hill we climb.

Wow, ride with Botto? I don't know how long I would be able to stand being corrected.

Would he carry flash cards with his favorite images in his jersey pocket?

If you could get Bret Favre and Botto in the same spot it would have the makings of a international incident.

Well, I'm a regular visitor here, but Milwaukee has certainly had its share of visitors. The French missionaries and explorers began visiting here in the late 16th century.

In fact , it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

Oh you're comin' botto....no backing out now!
Dr. Pete already folded on me.

It'll be legendary.
I'll gather up a whole group of BF members for a ride of epic spring proportions.
And I was serious about those hills....ask anybody who has ridden with me....I suck!

i know, but it's a work related road trip, currently with the plan to travel down the Mississippi (N>S).

it's not really up to me, but to be honest, i'd rather we do it in March. I'll be bringing my bike, but I'm not sure how much riding i'll get in over 2 weeks spent in a car.

OK - positive thought - new wheels can be bought most days and replaced any day.
