I don't feel like dealing with getting to the city, and I'm not sure I'm in the mood to be city crit aggressive quite yet anyway.

Grant's Tomb is a sufficiently rad course that I would be going if I didn't have family commitments that day. But it is a royal PITA to get to.
Plainville just doesn't seem worth the two hour drive for me this weekend, or possibly ever. I did it back in 2009. It was fine, I guess. Cold. But I lived closer than I do now.

I thought about about plainville, but it's too far and too many people there I don't feel like dealing with. There's a crit in south jersey that has a number of guys I'd really like to race against early season, but it's 2:15 from my house…big ask.
Looks like I'll race saturday and then head to the mountains with the wife for R&R.
Double up another week I think.

Branchbrook for the next few weeks for me. Super convenient considering my folks live literally 10 minutes away from the park. Will be a doing a roller later Saturday in South Jersey. I'm going to do that one on my track bike, with the 123 earlier in the morning no clue how doing spin outs on the fixed gear will go.

OK, I'm signing up for Grant's Tomb, and I'm going to do my best to hit Branchbrook that morning too, for the full on multi-bridge-and-tunnel Daily Double.

They had a rough patch several weeks in a row last year with no police, that was a bummer. Lost a lot of people's interest. They turned it around right after somehow, and we raced there several times until the end of the season.

I am going to be in northern MD this weekend visiting my brother, who also races. On the waitlist for the Route One Rampage in Hyattsville, MD on Saturday. Already in for the 4/5 race for the South Jersey Spring Series on Sunday.

Cat 2 will be the end of the upgrade line for me, and the points will come sooner or later, so I'm going to to my best just to enjoy racing and not worry about that part.

I could make the argument. It's like a points race on the track, usually safe because it's usually strung out.

Well the legs are already waxed, Plainville at an actually reasonable hour sounds like it.
