Probably most people are using the stock Shimano pads that come on those brakes. Kool Stop and SwissStop make excellent replacement pads but they will likely cost a bit more than the stock ones. If you are feeling like your brakes aren't performing well and you have new pads and clean not worn out or out of true rotors and you brakes are properly bled/set up, you might consider upgrading your brakes or maybe getting better rotors. Sometimes manufacturers go cheap on rotors or are just generally using cheaper brakes on the cheaper bikes so things like that can stand to be improved.
