1988 Centurion Ironman Master Minty Purple Haze

Just want to show off my latest completed project

“Nearly-NOS” 1988 Centurion Dave Scott Master, I say nearly-NOS because the bike is an absolutely mint garage queen with nearly no miles on it. My bike matches RobbieTunes’ “Ironman Information Thread” components listing perfectly, the only things that aren’t original to the bike are the bar tape and cables. Even the tires are original in perfect rideable condition, they still have the rubber mold injection “hairs” on them! The brake calipers still have the rubber grommet thingies, and it has the original turbo saddle too!

I also have this posted in the C&V appraisals forum. Love it, but it’s just too small for me.

Ace.
Stellar.
Combat Ready.
The legend continues.
All is right with the world.
Women swoon, men smile nervously.
Everyone wants to be polite, but they're off balance now.
If you ride it a lot with those tires at 100psi or more, you are a freaking stud.

Haha! Thanks RobbieTunes! And for the kind words everyone!

I find myself lost in time lustily staring at it more than I have actually ridden it (my wife says I have a problem) but, even on 30 year old tires, it rides so sweet!!!! I think I understand the hubbub about these, and now consider myself an IM cult member!

I just need to find one my size now, and pass this one on to a good home!
