Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Seriously? We've been bombarded with forecasts of 6" or more for two days. We got virtually nothing but rain.

I'm glad that it has (mostly) moved through for me. We got 5-6" on Easter, but it's been and sunny peaking above freezing, since. Should be able to get back on skinny wheels this weekend.

Exciting day yesterday. My shower head broke off and sprayed water all over one of the walls. Ordered a new one from Ace. About to go pick it up at the local hardware store.

Managed to snag a nice bronzino, which I ate last night, a pompano, which I am going to cook tonight, a few nice chicken breasts and some monk fish filets.

If it was I certainly didn't see anything about it. I look at the 10-day forecast every single day and didn't see anything

To be fair, it's more a potential handlebar purchase...

I've got the bag already

Maybe it was originally to be south of you and they didn't sensationalize it like they did down here. Anyway, it went north of us and all we got was nuisance rain and you got our snow.

While you’re all getting snow, down here it turned warm and humid again. The same workout from Wednesday was noticeably sweatier.

It was below freezing this morning. I can't ride anyway, too much telemedicine work to do.

Well, as luck would have it, the finger wasn't cut all the way off. There is a small piece of original, intact skin.

Doesn't matter. Nerves were severed.

Those are some pricey bags. I have an Ostrich F104 that I got used, for $50. Unwaxed. Maybe that is the difference. Technically not a handlebar bag.

For breakfast, the little lady made a Dutch Baby, and I cooked up some bacon and cut up a fresh pineapple. Cafe Bustelo to wash it down. I think my foot gash might be healed enough for riding. Gonna be a good day!
