  1. Why not? From that point of view it isn't cutting anything off and is showing more of the track; and,
  2. I obviously wasn't recording if I was riding.

Great to see an older dude still riding and the crash. Its fun reliving our memories, or just being able to document without a Polaroid haha. I had a bad accident this year so am glad to see you are all good.

What happened? You were going level on the tabletop and then the bike went out from under you. Was there contact with the other guy before you were properly crashing?

1. No one likes watching YouTube videos in portrait mode,...THAT'S why not. Landscape shows more of the track, NOT portrait. I'm 52,...and I'm quite tech savvy.
2. Then have the friend/family member record in landscape. It's a YouTube No-No.

I'm just glad you didn't get injured. Us old guys heal quite a bit slower. Great job nonetheless.

I'm still not entirely sure, but I think we hit bars - on the video it looks like my wheel turned, then my bike went out from under me into his bike. I didn't hit my pre-pull right, I was late and got a little air there by accident - going faster out of the corner than usual after railing high-high and then was probably a bit spooked with him that close too. I'm still just 41-45 Novice class.

I'm not going to complain - it's my wife recording. She watches on her phone, so doesn't see an issue. Worst is when she's recording stuff that the kids want to edit together with some of it in landscape and some in portrait.
I wear knee, elbow and ankle pads. I've got shorts with hip pads on the way after that one.

I'm actually not 'still riding' - I didn't start racing until last year at 40 after my kids started. I'm gradually increasing my padding
